Men's Health Week takes place Monday 15th June to Sunday 21st June 2026, running annually in the week leading up to Father's Day. It's designed to give all boys and men access to the information, services and treatment they need to live healthier, longer and more fulfilling lives.
How can I get involved in Men's Health Week?
1. Schedule a health check
Encourage the men in your life to schedule regular check-ups with their healthcare providers. Routine screenings, such as blood pressure, cholesterol and prostate exams, can help detect potential health concerns early on.
2. Research men's health
Doing your own research and educating yourself could help improve your lifestyle or your knowledge to pass on to the men in your life. Have a look at nutrition, exercise, mental health, stress management and healthy lifestyle habits. Make sure you're looking at reliable sites like the NHS!
3. Engage in physical activities
Promote physical fitness by organising a group of students to take part in sports activities during Men's Health Week. These could be things like group walks, sports tournaments, or fitness challenges. Physical exercise not only enhances physical health but also supports mental well-being.
4. Support Men's Health Organisations
If you're in a position to donate or volunteer, this could be a good way to promote men's health. These organisations often provide valuable resources, support groups, and educational campaigns to raise awareness.
It's important to check in on your friends, family and colleagues during this time, even if it's just a small chat. Support is here for everyone 💙
