Say hello to Spring! It's now the time to change out your cosy, thick blankets for an aesthetic throw.
Here are some ways you can brighten up your room for the new season:
Declutter 👕
The big thing that will change the way your room feels is how much clutter you might have lying around. Start decluttering, doing the classic 'spring clean' and box up all your winter items. This could be clothes, decor, or any Christmas things left over.
Once this is done, you'll really feel like you've stepped into a new season, and it also stops you from digging around in your wardrobe, pushing all your thick, fluffy jumpers out of the way.

Bedding 🌸
Your bed is the centre of your room, and when you change your sheets each season, we can assure you you'll feel much lighter yourself as well as your room. Swap out your winter tartan bedding for some pastel/neutral coloured sheets.
With the warmer weather approaching, it's time to put away your fleecy blankets, too. You can find thinner cotton throws in shops like Primark and H&M as well as online. Small changes like this can instantly make your room feel like it was made for spring.
Plants 🪴
Fake or real, both work. It's one guaranteed way to brighten up your space and bring some light inside. If you want a cheaper alternative, fake flowers are the way to go, as they last a long time and you can save them for future use. You can also find cheap vases in local charity shops or supermarkets to add to the vibes.
If you have a particular colour scheme for your room, we recommend clear vases; they go with any colour and give your room a bit of 'boujeeness'.
Fairy lights💡
Fairy lights bring warmth and some sort of enchantment in spring, moving beyond Christmas lights. Yellow-toned lights are the way to go, and they're great for all year round!
You could even branch out into getting some specifically for spring, with little flowers on them, and if you're feeling like you want an ultra spring moment, get some vines for your room and wrap the fairy lights around them. Now that will look fab!
Mirrors🪞
Depending on whether you have a movable standing mirror or not, if you do, try to place it in the corner of the room or somewhere that catches the light. Not only will it look really cool, but it'll also make your room feel a lot bigger. In winter, you want your room to feel all cosy and that bit smaller, which is why this tip for spring is great. You can even try it with a small desk mirror on your windowsill.
You don't have to change your room every time the seasons change, but these small changes can help brighten up your room and bring it back to life for when the warmer weather comes in.
