Nut Butter Banana Toast - 5 minutes 🍌

If you have a nut allergy, try using honey instead of nut butter.

  • Whole-grain bread
  • Peanut or almond butter
  • Banana (sliced)
  • Chia seeds or cinnamon (optional)

Method:

  1. Toast your bread either in a toaster or under the grill, and slice the banana
  2. Spread the peanut or almost butter (or honey) on the toast and add the banana on top
  3. Sprinkle with chia seeds or a bit of cinnamon, and enjoy!

French Toast - 10 minutes 🍓

French toast is a delicious breakfast that will make you feel happy, but won't send you into a morning food coma.

  • An egg
  • Bread
  • Milk
  • Cinnamon
  • Fruit (of your choice)
  • Maple syrup (optional)

Method:

  1. Heat a frying pan with a bit of butter on a medium-low heat
  2. Crack the egg into a bowl with a splash of milk and a pinch of cinnamon, and whisk together
  3. Then, soak each side of two slices of bread in the mix and let them toast in the pan
  4. After the first side is done, flip the bread and let the other side cook
  5. While the bread is in the pan, you can cut up the fruit
  6. Once the toasts are done, place them on a plate and top with your chosen fruit and maple syrup if you'd like.

These recipes are quick, simple and very tasty, but most importantly, they're good for you and will keep your energy levels up through your exams.
