Studying is not the same without a great study spot. Whether you like absolute silence or a bit of background noise, finding the perfect study spot for you can be a challenge, which is why one of our Denmark Road residents' has shared their favourite study spaces near them.
1. Costa Coffee
In just over 5 minutes walk from Denmark Road, you can find a classic Costa Coffee. With a range of different and trendy hot and iced drinks, they have plenty of options to fuel you through those long study sessions.
Just be wary that sometimes there might not be a plug near you, so make sure to charge up beforehand or bring a portable power bank just incase.
2. Alan Gilbert Learning Commons
Located in The University of Manchester, this study spot is great whether you're a solo studier or working in a group, with flexible study spaces and an impressive atrium.
Open 24 hours a day and just a 10-minute walk away from Denmark Road, it's perfect for early birds, night owls and everyone in between.
3. Main Library
As the largest library on the university campus, you're bound to find somewhere you can sit down and revise here. Not to mention that if you're looking for specific research material, it's home to the principal collections for teaching and research in the humanities, education, law, medicine, science and the social sciences.
